While we know that we're not oppressive religious fanatics out to get you, we do realise that sometimes people prefer to find out a little more before they want to discuss things face-to-face.

We can send you leaflets with Biblical references that will help you answer these questions for yourself:

• What is the Bible?  "By what authority are you doings these things" - Matthew 21:23
• What is sin?  "He will save His people from their sins." - Matthew 1:21
• What is salvation?  "Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners." - I Timothy 1:15
• What is faith?  "Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed." - John 20:29
• What is repentance?  "Unless you repent, you will all perish." - Luke 13:3
• What is baptism?  "Arise, be baptised, wash away your sins, calling in His name." - Acts 22:16

Each leaflet contains many common questions that follow the theme of the "What is..." question.  With each question is a reference to verse in the Bible that will help you find the answer.

We encourage you to read the surrounding verses to take in the context of the references.  Acts 17:10,11 speak of the people of Berea.  These verse compliment them on their desire to check the Scriptures (the Bible) to ensure what they were taught was in harmony with the whole of God's teaching.
